Using real examples from his Midnight Movie Adventures graphic novels, published by Little Brown Ink, Ira will take you behind the scenes of his creative process.

He’ll share:

• Actual early sketches, thumbnails, and works-in-progress from his books
• Feedback he received from his agent and editor, and how he responded to it
• How he identifies the emotional “spine” of a story
• How he makes decisions about pacing, character, and what belongs on the page
• How a story continues to evolve as words become sequential art
