Finding Your Path to Making Sequential Art with Gibson Twist
Free Virtual Workshop
Saturday, June 24th
1 – 3pm EST
Learn tools to help you find your process and style of making comics, and what kind of comics you want to make.

OVERVIEW
If you ask “How do you make comics?” you’ll get a thousand answers from a hundred people, and all of them are the right answer. That’s because everyone makes comics a little differently, from the way we make them to the kind of comics we want to make. It can be confusing for both aspiring newcomers and old hats alike to find the process that works for us personally. The question you may want to ask yourself is “How do *I* make comics?” Writer and artist Gibson Twist wants to help you answer that question.
This lively seminar is not a How-To Make Comics tutorial, but an exploration of the tools for crafting your own style and process, From Format to Audience, from Mentors to Mission Statements, tune in with Gibson to open your mind and uncover the Dos and Don’ts that work for you and only you.
MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Gibson Twist
Gibson has been making and self-publishing comics for over 30 years, and is currently producing a Wuthering Heights graphic novel with partner Rori for Andrews McMeel Universal. While his love of questioning authority tends to get him into trouble, asking unusual questions lets him help others to find new perspectives.

We love it when people submit events in the kidlit comics community.
