Editing and Revising a Graphic Novel with Kon Tan

Kon will go over his process laying out thumbnails, how to leave enough space to give moments their proper impact, and know how to keep parts of the book to serve the story and not you! There will be time for Q&A at the end.
 
Kon Tan is a writer and illustrator based in Los Angeles. He studied Animation at Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver, Canada. His student film ‘Wind & Tree’ won Best Canadian Student Short at the Ottawa International Animation Festival 2013 and was screened at festival around the world. He has worked as a VFX Artist on ‘Tumble Leaf’ at Bix Pix, and had shorts in development at Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. His dark screwball comic ‘Screwed Up’ was published by AdHouse Books. ‘We’re All Gonna Die-nosaur!!!’ a young middle grade illustrated chapter book series will be published by Disney / Hyperion in 2025.
