August 8 @ 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm EDT

Let’s Make a Bad Comic!: Make Your Mini-Comic in 3 Hours and actually rewire your brain
Hey you. Yeah, YOU. Do you love comics? Have you not been able to make one that lives up to your standards? Do you just stare at your art supplies sadly instead of actually doing what you love? Have you ever considered making a bad comic…ON PURPOSE?
Join us for a live, hands-on workshop that gives you permission to screw up while making comics. Learn to stop overthinking and actually finish a comic…in one afternoon. You’ll be surprised what you can come up with when the pressure is off!
All you need is a pencil, some paper, and no plan.
By the end of this 3-hour session, you’ll have a complete 8-page mini-comic (in folded zine format) that you can hold in your hands.
Materials you’ll need:
- A few sheets of printer paper
- Pencil + eraser
- A black pen or marker
- Totally optional: 1–2 color tools (colored pencils, markers, ink wash, etc.)
