SuperMark & Scoot, Dust Bunny Round-Up
In this modern western, SuperMark, a cowboy bookmark, and his bestie Scoot, an electric scooter, have always been the one and only library rangers. But when dust bunnies multiply beyond their control, SuperMark is tasked with getting more help, and fast. However, not being the number one hero anymore isn't easy for him. Can he make room for more rangers before the bunnies destroy the books and take over the library?
Humorous “footnotes” are sprinkled throughout the novel, explaining literary devices for young readers and aspiring writers.

As a former librarian of 16 years, I wrangled my fair share of dust bunnies and critters. Keeping a library clean, quiet, and fun while promoting literacy and a love of books was no easy feat. During those years, I fell in love with graphic novels as their popularity skyrocketed, and as an author and illustrator, I knew I wanted to be part of this world.
SuperMark and Scoot were born from a desire to create a series where young readers can see themselves, enjoy fun literary facts, and laugh out loud. It’s the best feeling ever! Plus, I’m a native Texan, although I’ve never owned a cowboy hat. Never say never.
