RIVERKID
Riverkid and Pinechild are two strange looking boys that live freely through a vast, magical forest Along the way, they cross paths with hunters, demons, robots, angels, and even ordinary humans. But beneath their wild, wandering life lies a quiet question neither of them can ignore: they don’t share the same DNA as anything… or anyone. As the world grows more complicated around them, the boys must decide where they belong — and whether their real “home” is a place, a people, or something they’ll have to create for themselves.

160My Why:
Riverkid is a fantasy styled retelling of my own personal connections. Nothing is more valuable than the history made with a loved one and mixing that concept with my passion for storytelling led me to believe that I could make something worth telling. Riverkid is based on my love for rivers and the concept of how rivers don’t let themselves be stopped, they just form a new path. While Pinechild is based on the concept of trees feeling unable to move, always holding on to anything but still strong and reliable. I think these attributes make a good combination for two brothers.
