Apple and Grape, Volume 6: Newsworthy Nonsense
Follow the scatterbrained Apple and the rambunctious Grape in the sixth collection of zany misadventures! Join this dynamic duo as they take on camping with Tomato and his parents, dish the latest school news with the always fashionable Cherry Sweethart, and deliver coffee to the residents of Cardinal Valleys all while avoiding deadly delivery drones from a rival coffee store (not particularly in that order). Meanwhile, the devious bunch Leonard, Mitch, and Natt try to stop the Butterfly Scouts (Daisy and Gretchen) from selling cookies in order to boost their “homemade” candy business.

I've been self-publishing my book series “Apple and Grape” since 2022. I am currently pursuing opportunities to have a children’s book publisher to publish my books in the hopes of reaching a wider audience. I wrote and drew 'Apple and Grape' stories as a way to express my love for the cartoons and comic strips I enjoyed when I was younger. As a result, I’ve created characters and stories that connect with young readers. At comic conventions and book festivals, parents often inform me how much their children enjoy reading my books in the local libraries. Today, my books are enjoyed by young readers throughout North and South Carolina. My dream is to have my new book in the hands of readers on a national level.

I was born in South Carolina, then grew up in North Carolina. I was inspired to become an illustrator from the cartoons and video games he enjoyed when I was growing up. In 2016, I studied art at North Carolina Central University and graduated with a degree in visual communications. I've been running my webcomic 'Apple and Grape' since 2020 and self-publishing their graphic collections since 2021.
