The Raskies
In a super duper far away land, there burns a magic torch. Once so magnificent and bright, this torch is said to have saved the entire kingdom of Raskonia from destruction at the hands of the slithery villain Scorpio. Forged by the Red King, this torch empowered its citizens to defeat Scorpio and cast out his army of ghouls. Now, fifty years later, the fire’s light dims as the Red King grows old, and Scorpio’s dark magic is once again spreading across the land. Raskonia’s only hope is a group of less-than-heroic outcasts. Will they be up to the task…or will they just sit around watching TV all day?

My Why:
The Raskies have been with Tyler and I for a long time since their creation in grade school. Every time I draw these fuzzy creatures I travel back in time with memories of my friends. It's been great to work on something that binds us to our youth while giving my own children a story about never giving up, that there are no magic solutions to solve all your problems, and how our friends can help us overcome seemingly impossible obstacles.
