Time Whiskers

Amy and George are two bright, fun-loving, enthusiastic, “normal” kids … who have a secret space-time vessel. That LOVES tuna fish. And naps. Eddie, their cat, can take Amy and George through time! But they’re not the only ones with a “special” feline—Ron Pilfer and his son, Gerard, intrude on time with their ​own​ cat (and Eddie’s sister), Cocoa. The Pilfers are short-sighted opportunists who ransack time for various get-rich-quick schemes, like rounding up extinct mammoths and shaving sea otters to make waterproof toupees. Whenever the Pilfers tamper with time, a disaster’s in the making. It’s up to Eddie, Amy, and George to figure it out and set things straight.

Let’s use an early-reader graphic novel series that lets kids explore the interconnected nature of reality and their own role in the web of life, with boatloads of comedy chaos along the way! Let’s create stories that have fun with the typical straight-line (linear) view of the world – PROBLEM → SOLUTION – where our solutions often create bigger problems.

Let's showcase kids who discover that loops and webs of interconnections can create hilarious, unintended consequences, like a 3-story foot-fungus monster. But when Amy and George whisk through time to save the present and restore the future … all the connections make sense, and all is right with the world!
