2 Super Dudes!
On Planet Super, everyone is born with superpowers and a magic pal to guide them. But Kos and Kyo are different. After a freak accident ejects them out of their Mommy’s belly too soon, they tumble out into the world without powers or a pal—and end up in the SuperCU.
When they eventually come home, they anxiously wait for their powers and pals to arrive. But still, nothing.
On their third birthday, they travel to the glowing Planet Crystal. They are excited to explore this new place. But when their parents doze off and a game of hide and seek goes awry, the twins make a startling discovery. With supernatural forces reawakening they must choose to carry on as they were, or accept new gifts that will change their lives.

My Why:
After having 2 Preemies, 2 Super Dudes was written from my firsthand experiences with my them. Although they do not have actual supernatural powers in real life, there are so many powerful things about them that inspired me to author this novel. They are truly superheroes to me and through this novel, I want to inspire and acknowledge my warriors and other children like them (450,000 babies are born prematurely each year in the US; 15 million globally!).

N.N.Shanel is a PB and Graphic Novel author. Her debut PB SUPREEMIE was self-published in 2019 because as she puts it "there was a story to tell and there was no time to wait in telling it". When she's not writing or hanging out with her own two little super dudes, she is advocating for prematurity awareness and celebrating Preemies, NICU babies, and their families through her brand— Supreemie Baby. In her free time, N.N.Shanel enjoys traveling, fashion design and eating way too many carbs.
