Super Moon Summer
Zara's haunted, Penny's crushing hard, Chloe’s snagged her first real job, and Dez is just trying to survive band camp. The summer before Junior year doesn't feel so magical… until a new moon ritual helps these four wannabe witches tap into powers they didn't know they had. As the summer progresses and their individual interests diverge, will the group’s newfound abilities bring their coven closer together, or tear them apart?

Super Moon Summer is my love letter to teenage friendship. When I was in high school, my relationships with other girls felt as close to magic as the real thing – especially during summer. Outside of the classroom, summer vacation challenges young people to maintain and evolve their friendships (which can be tricky if they're already navigating changes within themselves.) For Super Moon Summer, I wanted to explore those obstacles through the lens of the supernatural. If teenage friendship is hard enough on its own, what would it look like with ghosts and potions thrown in the mix?
Cheyenne Smith
Cheyenne is a cartoonist and writer from Austin, Texas. Her work is a celebration of the coming-of-age genre; Whether she's working in YA fiction or graphic memoir, all of Cheyenne's comics attempt to capture the magic of girlhood and painful comedy of growing up. If she can manage to make someone cringe and cry within the same story, she's done her job.
