Tango Cuisine
Tango Cuisine is like BLOOM meets TINY DANCER in Argentina.
FLOR, a 17-year-old impulsive dancer, dreams of attending the Dance Academy. But when her family’s studio is vandalized, she spends her savings to fix it. Adamant, she aims to win a scholarship at the Tango Championship—but she needs a partner.
Enter MAX, an 18-year-old arrogant junior cook and skilled dancer who agrees to help Flor after she gives him a referral to her uncle’s famous restaurant.
Clashing between Max’s paralyzing perfectionism and Flor’s adrift spontaneity, they challenge each other’s views on art, love, and fear as they grow closer.
But when doubt leads to an injury that splits them, they must choose—trust each other or lose both their dreams and blooming love

250My Why:
I was born in Argentina, living there for 3 decades before moving to California where I have been living ever since.
Homesick, with the global gloom of the past years, concurrently with the sadness of my mother getting sick as all the airports were shut down, I sought comfort in lighthearted-uplifting media.
I realized the importance of stories created mainly to comfort and to lift the spirit, make you laugh, or feel love and hope.
My storyteller brain channeled my nostalgia and my desire to radiate warmth and love, into this story.
I invite you to take a trip —minus the 12+ flight hours— to Buenos Aires; find your dance shoes, or perhaps your favorite apron, and follow Flor and Max as they explore new feelings, dreams and passions.
