JUSTICE FOR ALL
JUSTICE FOR ALL mashes up a real-life legal case with the flavor of a Scooby-Doo type adventure tale. Magical realism meets our legal system, revealing the basics of how the law works and how it can be manipulated by some to result in the exact opposite of Truth and Justice.
The main character of JUSTICE FOR ALL is JUSTICE herself, blind and impartial. With her scales and sword, she comes to Cog City in the form of a brilliant teenage lawyer. JUSTICE has recruited a diverse team of friends her age to help: there’s Marlowe, Aaliyah and Trey. Cog City itself is a character in the story, crafted like a map of Middle Earth.
JUSTICE FOR ALL seeks to educate and demystify the law, to explain it simply and entertain at the same time!

My experience with graphic novels like the COUSTEAU EXPEDITIONS SERIES has inspired me to explore a bit more with some of my ideas. JUSTICE FOR ALL is one.
I seek to portray a particular legal case I personally witnessed as I saw it: like a legendary knight’s journey thru constant obstacles to victory.
I am further inspired by young heroes like the 16 plaintiffs (aged 5 to 22) who are involved in a climate lawsuit in Montana, and Sophia Park, the youngest person to pass the California bar exam at 17.
Dean Strang (MAKING OF A MURDERER) has reviewed the script for accuracy and agreed to write the forward for JUSTICE FOR ALL. Lawrence Lessig has called the timing as “perfect,” and the “art is beautiful.”
