The Omega Gators

The Omega Gators follows the adventures of two brother alligators named Jax and Riley. Gifted with superpowers from a mysterious meteorite and a determination to save the world, they embark on a thrilling quest against the forces of evil. When their peaceful city is threatened by the sinister BrainFreeze, a villainous penguin bent on taking control, the brothers put their different personalities aside and step up to the threat. With the support of tech giant OmegaCorp, their friends Dr. Raj and the ninja-like agent known as The Night Sky, the brothers are set on using their new powers to protect the Earth ...while working on their own insecurities along the way.

My Why:

The Omega Gators is a story about two alligator brothers who suddenly are gifted with super powers and are responsible for the protection of Earth. Not only do they have to navigate through the complexities of their abilities, but they also need to deal with their own insecurities. I wanted to tell a "coming of age-super hero story" that was also funny with these characters, based on some personal experiences that I had about self-doubt and share them in a way that is relatable with kids growing up today. I wanted to create a world that empowers anyone who reads this book.
