The Wolf's Path
The Warriors graphic novel series does Pixar in this fable about an otter battling her worst fears to save her community.
River is a young otter who lives on a faraway island. She is a crafty creative type who is afraid of the forest. Her parents were both eaten by the bloodthirsty wolf that lives there named Culloden.
One day, a tsunami strikes the coast, destroying River’s community. The survivors are left stranded and injured. They’re also drenched in oil from a nearby spill caught in the waves and they’ll soon freeze if left untreated.
River is the only one who can save them. She must venture out into the dangerous woods and overcome her worst fears to become a hero.

200My Why:
I love the mainstream, masterful storytelling of Pixar studios and I set myself a challenge. I wanted to bring ‘Pixar to the panel’ by creating a classic adventure story in the graphic novel format.
My son is six years old and I read to him nearly every night. I wanted to create a story with strong characters and drama that we could enjoy. In turn, I hope to bring thrills and laughs to families worldwide.
This story is also very personal to me. The main character’s anxiety spoils her own potential. I have epilepsy and the fear of seizures caused me panic attacks for years. I had to struggle through the fear to progress in my life. I want to inspire others to walk their own ‘wolf’s path’ and overcome fear.
