Genghis Conroy and the Scourge of Ko' Modo, the Dragon Emperor
History repeats itself in this tale of long-lost empires, barbarian hordes, and a boy who must learn to save himself before he can save the world.
After his father's death, Genghis is left feeling helpless and lost. He is sent to live with his brilliant yet enigmatic uncle, who runs a shop that collects and sells magical artifacts. A mysterious urn containing the imprisoned spirit of an evil emperor turns their lives upside down when it shows up in the shop. When others arrive to steal it, Genghis finds himself in possession of the urn with a chance to safely secure it. But when he drops it, shattering it into pieces, he must face the consequences of his actions and the evil spirit that is now free.

Throughout my life, I have struggled with my self-esteem. I used to think that I wasn't as smart or capable as others and that I should leave the problems I saw all around me to those better equipped to handle them. But I realize I do not need to wait for others to help me. I can save myself. I can change the world.
The story of Genghis shows how he had to take control of his life and overcome his limiting beliefs. It is a powerful reminder that we all have the power to make a difference and change our own lives for the better. I believe that sharing his story with children everywhere can inspire them to see they have the strength and ability to impact the world around them.
